I have some information about the Eagles - Dolphins game I thought you might find interesting.
The Dolphins are starting a rookie QB, John Beck, who has never started an NFL game before. What do you think he feels like right now? Do you think he's nervous?
Beck was drafted in the 2nd round, 40th overall, four picks behind Kevin Kolb (the QB that the Eagles drafted to take over for McNabb once he's done in Philadelphia).
The Eagles are favored to win by 10 points. Do you think they will win by more than 10 points? I'm not so sure.
If they win the game, the Eagles will be 5-5 on the season, just one game out of a wild-card spot. It's hard to believe that they're back in the playoff hunt after such a bad start.
But here's the thing: the rest of the Eagles schedule is really tough. Here are the rest of the teams that the Eagles play this season, along with their current record:
Nov 25 - at New England (9-0) Dec 2 - Seattle (5-4) Dec 9 - NY Giants (6-3) Dec 16 - @ Dallas (8-1) Dec 23 - @ New Orleans (4-5) Dec 30 - Buffalo (5-4)
I hope they can win some of these games! (Especially the game at Dallas!)
I'm looking forward to going to the game with you this Sunday.
