Hmmm... perhaps it is some kind of strange alien plant? Or a radioactive earthworm? I remember hearing that Spiderman was bitten by a radioactive spider, so do you think that if you were bitten by a radioactive earthworm, you would become Earthworm Man? It's certainly something to think about.
